The only problem is when will they reopen? 2 months, 4 months 12 months? cash is burning in the meantime, 10mil just to maintain the mine over 4 months. I feel it will be opened sooner than later, the country needs the money from royaties. It would also destroy any future foreign investment....economical suicide.
The recent lawsuits are a joke, a lawyer told me these are just standard templates and you just fill in the blanks and submit. Its actually quite comical, if you were to call one of these lawyers who issued the suit, they wouldn't even know what the company is or does!!!
I used to follow Lakeshore Gold very closely a few years back, they bought a great asset here. Combined with La Arena the SP should hold up nicely :)
Anways, best of luck with one! I'm a buyer again down around $5 USD
Well, as I mentioned back in July, I'm a buyer down here at $5 USD. I'm going to wait it out a bit... see if it it breaks down lower for an entry point. Nothing has changed with this company, with all the turmoil in South America, you would expect the Guatemala Govt to understand the need for royalties, employment, tax revenue, foreign investment...ect.
