RE:RE:RE:RE:where do the terps go?

RE:RE:RE:RE:where do the terps go?The fact that we're even having this convo speaks volumes. Back in the day you could't choose Indica vs Sativa, let alone THC vs CBD content. It was more about taking what was available. Now we're talking about flavour/terp profiles. It boggles the mind...
ChacenAces wrote: I cant say for sure except that I dont think they were using C02 extraction before as I understand it so I dont think they were saving the terpenes as only C02 can seperate them I believe. The process they have been using destroyed the tepenes which is why it was flavourless.

I can say with 100% certainty from my own experience that if you want to taylor your high to a specific outcome then pay VERY close attention to terpenes. Personally if I want to sleep fast, deep and long I vape something with a high concentration of the terpene Myrcene (terpenes Linalool & Terpineol work well to for sleep specifically). If I want a daytime high just the opposite for me I go with something very low in the aforementioned Terpenes.

The science is coming along and I think us old pot heads will wake up someday and say why the duck did I ever smoke that street corner dirt weed  compared to this new age stuff lol. The science will bring this to a point where you can definitively vape what you want to feel so to speak.

ChacenAces wrote: Canopy has recently put online thier "Industrial Scale CO2 Supercritical Fluid Cannabis Extraction System". This is extremely important as THE PROCESS RETAINS THE TERPENES among other things as compared to other non C02 methods.

Here are a few links if you want to research it:

1)
Canopy Extractor Purchase

2) Update With C02 Approval & Operational

3) Company That Makes the Super Extractor

4) How Supercritical C02 Extraction Works

i am hanging in the clouds and was thinking:
"terps are the sh*"
"are terpene extracts legal?"
and
the terpenes have been removed from this product

ok fine fine, now this oil does not taste too much, i would think more neutral, which is just another joice for people and i think you really need a tasteless product.

but what are we doing with them?
flushing down the toilets?

or am i missing something and we already make something out of them or it is not legal yet?

i just haven't heard much of companies that do focus on terpenes, maybe its not a thing and it comes in waves:
thc and cbd to edibles and extracts to terpenes and some of the over 100 cannabinoids you havent heard of

i only know of The Terpistry from CannaRoyalty
thankful for any advice/thoughts or investment idea
