Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE: TMX Scenarios ... what will they do?

RE: TMX Scenarios ... what will they do?Thanks Mike, i agree there could be other scenarios i haven't thought of, and i'm wide open to hearing them.  Also, my conclusions to each scenario continue to "evolve", ha ha.

Mike411Ontario wrote: Got this from the WEED BB & Squishy did a real nice job.  However, the bias overthere is unworkable.  Are these the only senarios available?  #4 is my choice what do others think.

Scenario 1 - TMX comes out with clarity, and says no Canadian based company can do any business whatsoever in the US.

Scenario 2 - TMX comes out with clarity, and says any Canadian companies doing business in the US currently are grandfathered, but no new companies allowed.

Scenario 3 - TMX comes out with clarity, and says “Fill Yer Boots”, do whatever the hell you want in the US, kids! We don’t give a shart.

Scenario 4 - TMX comes out with a more nuanced but clear position, and makes operations in the US possible under certain conditions.

Scenario 5 - TMX somehow manages to not make a clear decision one way or another, which would in effect be a status quo.

Note; that GoBlue did respond to say the TMX has already said that listing isn't an issue.  Montv put forth some pretty reasonable scenarios.  But this would focus on the TMX response.  Hope we get some reasonable responses.
