Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:Bruce Linton...we talking about "warmup".I think it's kind of crazy how Canopy so easily brushes off not being a profitable company when they own 25% of the market, plus markup on their products well over 300%. How does a company not turn a profit with these numbers? Crazy in my opinion!! That's why i won't buy or own Canopy.

The weed business is going to get competitive faster than Linton and his team thinks. Producers aren't going to be able to sell for 8$ a gram forever either. If they can't profit selling at these margins, how will they profit when supply catches up and the price for product drops? That will be the not too distant future. The bleeding will really start once wholesale is the new "game" and there will be a larger supply chain than just mail order (dispensaries, pharmacies, etc).

Fact is they messed up on their economies of scale. How many facilities do they own? How much tax on these buildings, hydro, electricity, employees, etc? High costs will not win in this sector, that's why im an APH shareholder

First post in a long time lol had a nice long summer vacay not looking at stock prices, or bullboards. It was great!

We talking about practice

the question you need to ask is how much profitability is left in CGC inventory. The answer is nothing. They pulled it all forward through GoB. They need to sell $65 million before they have a penny of profits.

Aphria has not done this.

Look both companies are good and will continue to do well into rec. What I really like about both these companies is the are each different in business-moto but yet some much alike in being aggressive for their shareholders.
Aph is a tank, keeps going running over anything in it's way!
Weed is like an army, concouring many battles.
And when all is said and done, we all be not further, but far ahead.

Good luck Blue, I have been enjoying your perspectives and views lately, thank you for the commitment you have provided these boards. Looking forward to more insight from you.
