Hello $ANX crowd. I saw someone on #Stockhouse had a question for the #UnknownGeologist regarding Goldboro. I believe the request was for me to ask the geologist to substantiate his statement that Goldboro was a beast, particularly in comparison to his experience working at the Forest Hills mine. Thanks to the person on stockhouse for the request. It is my pleasure to bring you his answer: "When Forest Hill was being mined back in the mid/late 1980's, production was in the vicinity of about 100-150 tonnes/day max.  This mine was strictly a narrow vein mine.  Drilling was focused on finding high-grade gold intersections and then drilling to determine continuity up/down dip.  They mined single high grade quartz veins ranging in width from 3.5 cm to about 1.8 meters wide max.  The grades were fantastic in some locations...I believe overall...the head grades at the Gays River Gold Mill (where ore was trucked) were over 10g/t. When I left Forest Hill as they 'ran out of ore'..I was hired as the Project Geologist at Goldboro.  The first day underground in Goldboro (1988), I was amazed at the potential this deposit had in comparison to Forest Hill.  The 1-2-3 Belt on the 250 foot level of the ramp in Goldboro was recently exposed presenting a full width of about 13 meters on one limb of the anticline.  Forest Hill only mined on one limb of the Anticline.  Goldboro clearly demonstrated that both limbs of the anticline are mineable as the Boston Richardson belt was mined on both limbs.  So right off the bat, double the potential of Forest Hill. The Boston Richards development stope at the 400 foot level in the refurbished shaft is 8.5 meters in width.  Countless drill intersections in Goldboro core routinely fill 1 to 4 boxes (3 to 12+ meters) with excellent looking belt material which often runs 6+ grams or better.  Goldboro also has the many narrow quartz veins like Forest Hill - but the majority of these have not been investigated as to date most of the focus has strictly been on the larger thicker Quartz-Argillite belts like the Boston Richardson belt. The fact the quartz packages are upwards of 10+ times wider than that of Forest Hill, both limbs of the Goldboro Anticline are mineralized and all the high-grade comes to surface at Goldboro (making excellent shallow open pit targets) makes me call Goldboro a BEAST in comparison to Forest Hill.  Yes I think Forest Hill still has potential to produce once again but Goldboro in comparison is a no brainer...ANX bought a winning property...a sleeping giant.   Time to crack it open Dustin."

Thanks cigar1 kddougan!
