Phil Davis postI also want to thank you for the well thought out meaningful post. I found it to be insightful in many areas. I will quibble on a few things. First of all, have I missed something? Are they changing the 30 day procedure to MRI instead of CT scan. You would be the first to tell us that those are two completely different procedures with one using X-rays and the other magnets. The first three were CT scans at 30 days.
I will also argue that the progress shown so far should be characterized much higher than "clinical potential". Dr Kulkarni said if " if two or three of the first nine" had a positive outcome, "that would be phenomenal." We already have three for three and we have six to go. Remember, recurrence happens in 80 percent of patients after Scraping and I think the first round of BCG. Our patients were as Dr K called them, " the worst of the worst". They failed two complete rounds of BCG which each round is several different procedures.
Did you pick next May to say that will be the time everybody knows about TLT 's treatment because that is when the urological congress is? My personal belief is that the time when the company will be known to everybody will be sooner than that and possibly as early as December if the results from the cytoscophy is anywhere near nine for nine.
Lastly it is impossible for me to imagine that the big pharma could be so much in the dark. Again, Dr. Kulkarni is also the lead investigator on mercks Keytruda phase 2 for NMIBC. Dr black that Bencro mentioned yesterday is Roche lead on NMIBC. They are all watching each other very closely. If we follow it as closely as we do, they follow it much closer because of the stakes involved for them. I will agree that we should be seeing higher volume as a result of all that and I cannot explain it. It seems that they would all be positioning based on what's happened so far. It just seems unimaginable since a subsidiary of Merck manufactures 1433 that they would be unaware of any results released so far.
I would have to write as much as you did to say how I appreciated the vast majority of what you posted. This board would be so much better if it was confined to thought-provoking discussion like your wonderful post.
