Solid State electric batteries

Solid State electric batteriesToyoto has been working on this new type of battery for 5 years now, and expects to have them in cars by 2022. The man who had a lot to do with the invention of the Lithium Iron battery is also working on solid state batteries down in Texas.

They are much lighter and cannot catch fire. They can hold 2 to 3 times as much energy, and can be recharged in minutes.

They do contain lithium which is good for NMX, but use other materials like sodium which is plentiful and cheap.

Try googling Solid State Batteries - it is very interesting.
