The Maersk deal was 80% North Sea E&P which leaves 20% split between the other countries of Maersk's holdings. Even if AOI was worth half of the remaining 20% then
10%of 7.45 billion would be 745 million divided by 456,620,000 AOI shares = aprox $1.63 dollars per share...even with a 10% premium ,share would be worth aprox $1.80.
I know this is very rough calculation of value, but at todays prices and environment IMO AOI shareholders would be screwed. I wouldn't want to see this happen.
