there is this law in Canada called the Bank Act which regulates who can actually own a Schedule I bank and how they must operate.  You can't just apply the US instance of Berkshire hathaway and assume that they will replicate the model.

The may actually make an passive investment and let the management do what it is supposed to do and make money.  

there has been indication from BH, Warren Buffet or HCG that this is not simply a passive investment.

As well BH doesn't have any seats on the board, which would lead me to believe that they aren't going to make any major changes, unless you have additional information that I am not aware of
