RE:RE:If you believe in UraniumOuch!!! I would not count CCO out yet. While their utility contracts signed in the last boom are rolling off they are not solely a Uranium miner. They produce U3O8 as well as UF6 and UO2 so they sell fuel in many forms. They are also a producer of fuel bundles at their Port Hope fuel; manufacturing Facility in Ontario as well as reactor internals components. They have just signed a contract to supply Bruce Power with fuel until 2030 and they have a contract to supply reactore components for the 4 Darlington reactors that are being refurbished. They also have long term contracts to supply Chine and India witrh fuel (the real growth markets).
Long contracts are more than just price. It is reliability of supply. stability of the supply jurisdiction and many other factors. Price is almost a secondary consideration since it is such a small part of operating a plant.
Howwever I take your point that NXE could well be a viable contender but they have to diversify into much more that just a miner and of course they are not even that yet. A ways to go before CCO has any serious competition and who knows they may enter into JV agreements with CCO. That is how CCO does busioness anyway......and certainly such collaboration is on the cards for Arrow.
