RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Presidents Letter FWIWthe only way this will get an exclusive rights is what was done in regards to the natchina first deal, meaning that in that case the Chinese had exclusive rights to sell in China and non-exclusive rights to sell elsewhere. This actually makes the most sense because unless as hockeynut has stated that right goes to a dominant player i can't see that being done. I also don't think that the company will want to do this because when you give too much power to a few people they may make life difficult for you. It is better in truth to have several companies because in business there can be both good and bad dealings and you don't want to hang yourself. Additionally, if one recalls, management was looking for about a handful of Chinese companies not all of them to provide our tech--something like 5-10 main ones who control a quarter of the world's solar production, however, the company also looks at tariffs and how that will affect our business and has side stepped this by working with coalitions like the new one as well as developing partnerships with people within their own countries. There is definitely a lot to be considered before giving away any type of intellectual rights but with this being said this company has always been really good and mindful about these things and its business model has been one that i always liked minus the fact some things should have been licensed out way sooner. In any case, let's see the company get the Ghana project at least that will be a good step in the right direction, along with the initial contract there are still two others of equal value and size of solar facilites, so this is fairly important one to get done properly.
