I would not rule out Avocado, but it isn't easy drillingIt is fair to say Avocado is not proven, but I don't sense they've given up. I saw mention a couple posts ago of another drill at Avocado this year, but Frank didn't mention it, so who knows. I suppose more study of Avocado is probably a good project for off season.
BTW, Frank did say they have in excess of US $10 million in the treasury. Which I recall him saying could cover two more seasons of drilling without a financing. That is not to say we won't see a financing, it is possible.
Again, when Frank at NUG mentioned Avocado mineralization, he mentioned 1.1 g/t, but I didn't catch the length he said. So I initially pulled those figures from a Steininger write up on it.
Yesterday as I was reviewing old posts to find historic figures of Waterton holdings, and their sales, I stumbled upon Highlander's post from around the time results were announced. They seemed to show more gold, so I shared them. Of course, there was no new news.
A quick note on Waterton, and whether they could be dumping about 1.5 million NUG shares monthly, similar to 2016. This morning, Schwab says the 10-day average volume is 80,757, or about 1,615,140 shares in a 20 trading day month. If the volume is that size, I don't see how Waterton could be 1.5 million of it.
But, Schwab says the 90 day average is 138,928 a day. 20 days a month of that is 2,778,560 per month. Could Waterton have been 1.5 million of that? Sure. Clearly volume has dropped over the past ten days.
