RE:I was one of the folks that couldn't watch....Ya i think it was more of the latter. Don't think it would have necessarily been nuelions fault on some outages. Depending on location and cable capacitiy in areas and volumes. The Mayweather and Pacquiao fight had same issues and wasn't done by neulion and bet they have a million plus more ppv buys then that fight.
Also heard UK and Ireland there wasn't a single issue for the skybox which is good. Id like to know the numbers if you talking a small percentage of ppv were refunded then that would be expected and pretty damn good considering this will likely turn out to be biggest ppv event in history. If only 5000 complaints on twitter with likely over 5million ppv is not to bad. We will find out later in the week of the numbers but looks pretty good and I can't see how Neulion doesnt get a decent cheque for this work on the event. Another note is it wasn't just neulion that had issues so Im sure UFC and White will know more of the back numbers of what happened and how many issues. Plus I don't think anyone would have faired any better with this event. People just need to sign in early next time :). Didn't crash once and only the two freezes or stoppages and for all i know could have been on my end.
Still think it was good show for them and not sure anyone would have faired better. Sucks to hear missed in until 4th round though. Are you trying to get refund? Neulion would make the refund since they are collecting the money as well so they aren't on the hook just lose any percentage they may have made on those refunds? let us know how that goes, hear thier customer service isn't great.
