I learned math a little differently. I was taught if you're making say $100 an ounce profit, and costs stay steady, if gold rises by $100 (Like is has in the last 6 months) you are now making $200 an ounce or twice as much. It also follows that if your getting 2 grams a ton of gold from the current ore and you start milling 8 grams a ton ore your profit will be $400 a ton or 4 times what you were making before.
Naturally if costs rise substantially and gold drops this profit could evaporate. However if they can contain costs and gold continues to rally back toward $2000 an ouce your .08 stock goes to .50 or so. Therefore if "the cost to mine it is anything like the current project" Anaconda will make a LOT of money.
