Response to protest at the drill site

In my opinion this has less to do with Couillard and more to do with the protests last month at the drill site. All of the Quebec oil and gas companies are consulting with local communities to obtain permission to proceed. Questerre (fracking, I know) have said they will not proceed without a community mandate. Many native peoples in Canada are dead set against the entire extraction industry, including all forms of mining and prospecting. Under these circumstances, permission to proceed is far from a done deal. Who knows?
