From ramblings you get the parameters to talk about and thenhopefully can see the problems clearly and summarize them more
quickly, precisely, briefly and hopefully properly.
Which from the ramblings below I’m not there yet. Though getting there.
The more you dig and longer at it, the better you get at what you want
to see accurately and summarize quickly and properly. It applies to all
endeavors and jobs in life too. You get better with practice and having
the rules of law, business and society being there and enforced honestly.
The latter - rules being there and honored - being a problem in itself.
Can the rules being there and honored, be admitted and done, without
one or the other side not losing an advantage and decision going their
way? Or do lies and getting the law on the lies side, for either side,
(achieved by getting a biased capitalist society vs a biased communist
society), the only way one or the other side can win and get their way.
All coming done to in an, in between mixed capitalist/socialist society, not
fully capitalist or communist, but mixed is there enough winnings for both
sides regardless which side wins their objective, after the process is done
properly and accurately, oe not?
Say everything was done properly to get THO's silver mine and they win
on that. But then the indigenous people and community people are
compensated well enough with jobs, proper salaries, working conditions,
(whether allowing unions or not). Also compensated with community
facilities and services, and environment conditions maintained as well as
can be.
Sort of a win win situation, or second best outcome for the losers. Though
the Guatemala gov’t and THO don’t get a second best outcome if they lose.
Then not really a win win for both sides.
Mindful as regards to the environment, that in all mining, from where our raw
material comes from to build society, technology and energy resources for
both, (and hence necessities for civilization), comes with some environmental
degradation and toxicity as a price of having civilization and the progressing
of it. The same with our food products in what we do to the land to grow food,
enough of it, quickly enough, with the fertilizers, pesticides, weed killers, or
GMO manipulation of the foods themselves, and what all of that is doing to
us. Contamination, dangers and risks, to some extent, go hand and hand with
progress.
To the point, as far as THO’s getting indigenous peoples’ agreement,
lawfully and properly, meaning, which side is arguing the facts better and
correctly or even mutually beneficially? Was it MEM and THO (Guatemala’s
ministry and Tahoe resources) or the indigenous natives, CALAS and some
of the community supporting them, doing that?
In THO's case, as regards the indigenous people in or around their silver
mine and getting them to agree to the mine, was there enough indigenous
people to even consider them, and if so, were things done properly enough
with advisement and votes, to have gotten a license for the silver mine?
If the indigenous agreed to the mine, were they compensated enough,
which probably goes into how the general community around the mine were
compensated.
This is not being considered by the Guatemala courts, as if outside their
jurisdiction, but should indigenous people have the right over a nation, to stop
economic projects and endeavors just because the UN has enshrined that
right in their C169 indigenous rights resolution for the world?
The funny thing being, there is no UN law or national Guatemala law or any
Nations’ law, for the most part, that allows the same blocking and stopping
of economic and mining activities by the general community of nations. Only
indigenous people have that advantage. As if that compensates for being
conquered hundreds of years ago, or not joining society and civilization since
then? And eases the conquerors guilt or something?
However there is for the general community, and I think should apply to
Indigenous people too, increasingly proper compensation as their winning
aspect of the decision not going the community’s or indigenous peoples’ way.
CALAS, the legal, social and environmental group of Guatemala should
recognize that , even if indigenous people are run ram shod over and taken
advantage of, but nevertheless get the same compensation the rest of the
community gets.
Isn't that the whole point of the UN's C169 indigenous rights resolution for the
world and not really being able to stop economic endeavors because of past
wrongs or present so called mythical pristine conditions of being indigenous
natives in the life style they live.
We shouldn't be looking at indigenous people and way of life as something as
alternatively good and pristine or mythically better to civilization and civilizations
constant progression. Especially as more and more are seeing that civilization
and religion have taken a wrong turn or miss a major turning point, when weren’t
allowed to adopt Nikola Tesla’s science as the true advanced science over the
very misleading, distorted, garbled and hard to make sense of Planck’s quantum
physics and Einstein’s relativity physics, science. The latter has taken civilization
for a very painful and harmful ride by sins of omission and commission.
Doing tremendous harm to all disciplines of science, the environment, pollution,
religions, political/economic progression, accurate knowledge and medical/
technological breakthroughs. Still waiting to happen, starting over 125 years
ago, circa 1887 by Tesla’s accessing of the aether and aether science/technology,
but stopped in their tracks, at the turn of the century 1900, through the old order
and religion supporting Planck and Einstein, instead of the new order and religion
of Tesla.
I say religion too, because Tesla developed anti gravity technology and vehicle
by 1915 and tried to get nations like the US and Germany to recognize and
adopt it. Both took it to black ops, Germany by 1935 and the US by 1947, with
the help of Germany’s technology transfer after the war. Supposedly the Germans
took the technology to the antartic in a breakaway civilization the US allows or
can’t deal with. For the US their UFOs or antigravity vehicles was the whole
reason for the phoney 1947 Roswell explanation claims, of aliens being the
possible origin of what was more and more appearing in the sky, really man made
UFOs. That’s been the ruse ever since, that if UFOs are there, they are alien
UFOs, at the same time constantly denying there are aliens and alien UFOs.
What happens when the status quo or authorities of the major nations recognize
and allow Tesla’s true physics and UFOs? It becomes mesmerizing, and more so
the means to go into the heavens above us where the so called gods are, and
becomes and alternative religion. And bye bye all the great religions and status
quo elites of them, with the sway they had previously. Hence the reason for
stopping Tesla's true advanced physics, or aether accesing and technology from
it, and antigravity vehicles that can go to the heavens, but taking them non
public to behind the scenes black ops. Where it is said the deep state is really
100 years ahead of us, and on the moon and mars, and wherever else, with
those antigravity vehicles.

Therefore if the indigenous people were large enough to matter, were briefed
well enough, but didn't agree, and MEM, the mining ministry of Guatemala
wanted the mine so much they pretended they agreed, and lied about the
voting results or allowed no voting decision making? What then?
I’m not saying that was the case. But if so, that might have been the basis of
all the non stop protests and road blocks as led by CALAS, the legal, social
and environmental group of Guatemala. Maybe why the gov’t didn’t prosecute
to the full extent of the law right from the start, CALAS, the indigenous people
and some supportive community people, in their constant road blocks and
protests. That the protesters position was technically correct (if shouldn’t be, ie
shouldn't be able to trump a nation’s economic develop, which at the back of
the gov'ts mind) the protestors could prove it and would get their day in court
and embarrass the gov’t, MEM and THO too much in world public opinion.
As they have now!
What a pickle if that is the case?
Perhaps the Guatemala gov’t, MEM and THO, thinking as I am thinking, that
allowing the silver mine is an imperative to Guatemala’s and civilization's in
general, progress, should be the case and never should have gotten to this
impasse. That subsequently after the gov't acknowledged ‘off the record’ to
CALAS, the indigenous people and some supportive surrounding community
people, of their deception, could then win them over that the silver mine and
compensations for allowing it, are best for all involved, including the nation's
and civilization’s increasing progress.
But CALAS, the indigenous people and the part of the surrounding community
supporting them, wouldn’t go along with it. Falsely thinking they are the great
crusaders over human injustice, and example to the world on the scale of
Ghandi, Martin luther King and Nelse Mandela.
Hogwash!
I’m not saying that is the case, but could be.
The UN C169 indigenous rights, resolution for the world's nations, trumps
a nation's wants, and can have economic endeavors stopped by indigenous
peoples' say so, achieved by a majority of them deciding the issue by vote.
Something not allowed by nations and the UN, to the general citizen population
In the nations of the world.
I think it is harmful to the indigenous people that we are allowing it to them, and
not bringing them into the national community or world community by allowing
it. But allowing them to exist in a mythical pristine condition that’s not true, we have
inflicted on them that condition as equally viable to civilization and as if it
compensates them and softens our guilt, for conquerings that happened long
ago as part of the mutation and natural selection behavior and laws we live under,
by reality or a god.
What a tangled and unfortunate mess they and we are in, regardless what is
the truth of the matter, and regardless of the should bes, over what is happening
instead, ie CALAS hijacking progress, rightly or wrongly. I think wrongly, ie that
Guatemala should be able to determine its economic policies and endeavors
and not indigenous people of the nations of the world. It just doesn’t make sense.
Compensated yes, hijacking the nation, no!
At worse, the Guatemala gov’t should declare emergency, or national security,
rights, trumping the UN’s C169, indigenous rights resolution for the world,
At best, CALAS, the indigenous people and some community people supporting
them, should get what they can and be glad of that. But if they want to overhaul
how reality and civilization develops and works, then find reality’s software or god,
and access the software, or protest to god it's excessive harsh ways. That is
probably what civilization’s progress is all about and doing, anyway.
