Also, Aecon is very diversified. IMO, no other Canadian public company could swallow them. My guess is a consortium takes them private. Or a large American company like Kiewit buys them. Kiewit has partnered with them on at least one past project.



It would only make sense that it be another firm or group presently involved in heavy construction. (Bechtel, Fluor, Kiewit come to mind).Not engineering or commercial development firms as you suggest. Also, don't rule out Aecon being taken private. We will see.
