RE:RE:TMG reports - getting the word out past U2Agree with you Greendaze. Another shoe will drop on this one and it will come in close succession to the last announcement. Volumes (lack of) and price of this stock (paltry) play into the hands of the market makers. With TMG, at least at this point, the market-makers get in between buyer and seller to the extent that liquidity is less than what it could otherwise be. But that mostly results when there is no appetite for the stock. That said, no company wants their stock in the crapper and they will work with the market makers to move it higher if the company has a corporate plan as witnessed with SNA, if you are familiar with that company.
All the market-makers need is to perceive some sort of direction indicated from the management, not in some underhanded or illegal way-but in terms of understanding corporate planning or direction signals given off and then the market-makers will then blow the stock in that direction. Of course, this isn’t exclusively done by them, it’s all of us, but they will provide the liquidity along the way, evening out the daily ebb and flow, the road bumps if you will; they buy when there is no one buying and sell when everyone is buying.
