RE:Building Sale??

RE:Building Sale??
Ed. thanks for update.
If I understand correctly, it sounds more like a "tentative deal" providing AVO performs said renovations etc.    So, we do not know what the sale price was nor how much will be left after said renovations.

If bought for 50 mil and sold for 100 mil, but renos cost 35 mill that may not be such a great deal.  That 50 mill could have likely been used to further grow a camera company versus a real estate venture.  if they make 50 Mill then that ,while perhaps distracting to core mission , may turn out to be a good deal/luck.

They were very quick to announce back in early spring about the 100 million "valuation", I just can’t understand the silence on this 5… month tentative offer?  A tactic? Or embarrassment on the big 100 Mil valuation?  Impossible to say at this point.   Maybe they are making a huge and worthwhile profit on the sale. Just wish they would give details and help raise the stock value.

Life’s simple:  If you sold your home and it was conditional upon you installing that vanishing pool you mentioned my wife and I are thinking about or fixing a sink and painting the walls, would you not know your rough profit?  if you didn’t know, why would you agree to the sale in the first place. Right?   Things can be complicated or very simple.
Then again, maybe I have never bought and sold property. Oh wait, I have and as odd as it appears to be, I pretty well knew what I would walk away with after the sale conditions were met.

Maybe we have to wait for next Q release to learn what the profit on this real estate deal turns out to be.
