I appreciate posters like yourself, john Utah , and grafitti who are genuine and honest with their long term thesis on this name unlike some other long term participants who are full of horseshit. Take care.
thanks. i try to deal in facts and fundamental analysis unlike many other posters here (both long and short).
don't get me wrong - i got in at the same price point as you (after watching the run up last year) and the technical breakdown has also made me extremely uneasy. it's tough watching an investment slide like this, but to me it's extremely overblown. nothing has fundamentally changed in the story aside from the CMS announcement, which isn't even 100% confirmed yet!
the stock will need some good momentum to recover from here. i've said this before - it will take a few quarters, minimum. people will need some real patience for a long term recovery.
there is a reason every buy-side portfolio manager (see BNN) and every sell-side investment bank says this is a solid company - it's a cash compounder. CRH has real ability to grow without raising equity and diluting shareholders. this is not your typical small cap stock losing money hand over fist, waiting for a home run event. it's a slow and steady growth story.
