That's not the sense I get when I talk to Mark, I try to call him every 6 months.  Essel clearly move at a pace which is much slower than most , if not all, on this board would like.  According to Mark Essel have hired an army of geophysists, oil engineers etc. I didn't' probe much on the Kenyan approval but one of the things that the Kenyan government is interested in is ensuring that there is a plan in place to mitigate impacts on local communities.

One thing I did sense is that Essel are not the most transparent partner. My sense is that Essel have invested far too much in this endeavour to not drill. 

Risk - reward remains the same, hopefully they drill thus year.
