RE:RE:RE:GreenhousegarbageSort of, you can't dump weed into 'indoor' and 'outdoor' catagories because they don't relate to the plant at all, but to the method of growth. For example, I can grow a clone indoors and in a greenhouse and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference after post-harvest processing.
He's reducing the complex ratios of cannabinoids/terpenoids/polyphenols found in each strain into two irrelevant catagories for comparison. Probably why I have him on ignore, people who think they know something about something generally don't like to be told otherwise.

good for extracts that are to be used in value added products. Well grown indoor produces a quality that greenhouse just can't. I think for dried bud, cold pressed, shatter and other methods of consumption where quality and potency of the actual plant shine through indoor will be the standard. For gel caps, topicals, patches, beverages and edibles I think low cost greenhouse is the way to go because you're not necessarily going for the subtle notes and tastes differences you're focusing more on general effects. Greenhouse weed will do fine short term because of supply restraints but with fixed pricing not just cap but minimum as well, I think it will end up evening out the cog's differences between indoor and greenhouse or even possible outdoor in the future. If you're paying $8 a gram at the ccbo regardless of quality you're going to buy the best. So while margins will be lower with higher cog's there is the potential to make up for it by moving much more product. Overall I like the expansion news. I wouldn't mind seeing another million sqft of gh, but I hope they maintain a good balance of the two. I've said it before check out jungle boys on Insta. Tommy chong just called them out by name to enter his "blazers cup" because he heard "they're the best". They are based in California optimal greenhouse weather but they still grow indoor to achieve the best quality. They are known by the who's who from celebrities to being follow by DNA, our old grower kevin furet, beleave and many others. Their pot and extracts are what the industry aspires to. This is the standard consumers in a some what developed maket will demand. Canopy doesnt produce this quality yet BUT!, it can with it's platforms, greenhouse just can't do it the platform doesn't support that kind of quality. If you're a numbers guys and see all pot as equal or view it as a commodity please check out jungle boys for your own education on the spectrum of quality different grow methods can produce. These guys are private so that's not a pump. The difference between indoor and greenhouse can be huge if done properly more then making up for higher cog's https://www.instagram.com/p/BYzpBhJDV0U/ in conclusion there is space for both but I believe to cater the the whole market you must have both and do both to a very high standard.
