The road block local or non local are acting like its a worl(world) Civil disobedience one, that is so called legal regardless what the Guatemala
courts say about THO being able to resume mining at Escobal there.
And using the various court cases against THO in the US and Canada, plus UN's
world indigenous resolution, and UN's legal arm against the president of Guatemala,
for all they are worth, to get away with their illegal road block and protest.
https://www.google.ca/search?q=civil+disobedience&gws_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=oo62WcnCMuG7jwTKmprgCA I don't agree with the civil disobedience designation being used, but Guatemala, the
court cases in the US and Canada, some big investment companies withdrawing their
shares in THO, and to an extent world public opinion (at least on the left) is letting
them get away with it.
If the Guatemala authorities press to hard against the road block protesters it doesn't
make them look very good in the world of public opinion, at least on the left.
