RE:Checking in.....

RE:Checking in.....How do you think ACB would pay for it?  (Also, RTI's technology can be easily constructed to operate in other locations.)

Bottles wrote: While reading over some recent posts, it seems to me that there might be an easier way to go about RTI's technology and ACB wanting an exclusive to that technology as it pertains to the MJ market.

The underlying problem, imo, is that RTI's technology has multiple applications. ACB's interest in  MAP most likely served as RTI's best marketing plan to date in that other concerns are now aware of this technology. Infact, I would not be surprised if RTI has been talking to other interested parties outside of the MJ market but is unable to embark upon any other deal(s) due to capacity concerns (ie: ACB may want all that the current facility can produce). Meanwhile, an exclusive agreement can be highly complicated with layers of legal humbo jumbo that requires highly skilled lawyers.

Yuk!

Albeit my opinion, I think both parties would be better served if ACB bought RTI in its entirety and then spun off the non-MJ related portion of the MAP technology to shareholders so as to seek opportunities elsewhere. That's pretty much what both parties are currently seeking but now, ACB would own the technology and be better able to protect its interests in the same.

Just a thought as I watch paint dry......
