Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Aphria still being held back because US InvestmentsZoey,

You might be right, but until
medical cannabis is legalized at the Federal level it will continue to be a drag on the whole industry.

Additional quote from the article you cited...

"Hatch’s bill doesn’t federally legalize medical marijuana. It ramps up scientific access to cannabis research. But for a senator like Hatch, that represents an enormous step forward on this issue. And his floor speech hints that he may be an advocate in the ongoing fight to protect the legal rights of medical patients in legal states."

I'm all in favour of anything that assists States in their fight against the Feds to legalize medical and recreational Cannabis.

We need indiviuals like Senator Hatch to step up the fight against the Feds becuase Sessions is ramping up the Federal fight against Cannabis.

January 1, 2018, California becomes recreationally legal. There is no way the Feds interfere with or try and put up road blocks in the world's 6th largest economy.
