RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:AAMI MEMBERS RECOMMEND STERILIZATION OF FLEXIBLE SCOPES!!
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:AAMI MEMBERS RECOMMEND STERILIZATION OF FLEXIBLE SCOPES!!I am a surgeon with a subspecialty in infectious disease, and considerable 25+ years of experience in the OR and in regional and provincial health care administration. As GoPats noted to me earlier this year, I regard TSO3 as a once in a lifetime investing opportunity and I am an advocate for this technology and for the significant improvement in health care it brings by reducing hospital acquired infections. I work for no one but myself, and have no interest in doing so. I provide an independent perspective and analysis, and, as has been noted, I am able to bring together information and post it here that the company would not issue as a press release. The only person I am the same as is me. :) And, I have been invested in TSO3 since just before Rumble joined the company. I don't say negative things about TSO3 only because the company continues to amaze me year after year in that they have no significant hiccups (other than Getinge's slow progress due to their internal issues - which is not TSO3's fault) as they get this new standard of care into the market. I follow the AAIM and regulatory bodies public information very closely, as I follow TSO3's, just as others, such as lematou, follow FDA Maude reports and bossu the cars in the lot. And, I have met with regional OR 'sterilization' heads and SPD employees who are actually trained only in scope HLD reprocessing and are quite resistant to and possibly afraid of the inevitable progression from inadequate high level disinfectliion of scopes to terminal effective scope sterilization. I have presumed this has nothing to do with the efficacy and efficiencies of the VP4, but rather to turf protection and the threat this revolutionary technology poses to their jobs in HLD, though I believe retraining to use a VP4 will be quite simple and that with growing applications for this unique low temperature sterilizer in the GI space, there will be lots of employment available for those who have trained to use HLD washer technology. Please? You are welcome. :)
