Rhino10 wrote: TX   I think you are a very genuine fella and I have no intention of getting into an argument with you on your view that all the titans of the gold industry reside in Canada.  Whilst you may be right in some respects you are obviously unaware of the continuing success stories here in WA that make your titans look quite ordinary -no match for the entrpereneurs here that have built major gold companies from scratch buying assets from major mining companies who did not have the skills or foresight to do similarly. You laud Kirkland Lake -a market cap of $3 billion.  Bill Beament has built Northern Star from one small mine a few years ago into a powerhouse with a market cap of roughtly the same as Kirkland at $2.82 billion. Then there is Evolution which probably has around the same market cap -have not looked -built from virtual scratch by Jake Klein. Or go to Newcrest with a market cap of about $15 billion and a dozen others in the wings like Gold Road -Dacian being funded by Goldfields and the likes -If  you think the world revolves around Canada and that for a moment you think companies like NST aren't watching proceedings you are very mistaken.  We have major gold companies here with as much clout as the Canadians only maybe smarter -all profitable ! Huge amounts of capital are needed for major new gold projects and whilst a lot comes from America - and I am very pro American- I can tell you a lot also comes from London -China and other international sources - This will play out and Lenigas WON'T be intimidated by Eric Sprott or anyone else as you have alluded -if we have another Rand there will be twenty mines. What makes you think Novo has it all stitched up ?  A strike lenght of 8 km is NOT a Rand ! Today KAI raised $1.7 million heavily oversubscribed -in which I have shares. If KAI a minnow with one tenement bordering Novo -and my ground- can do that Artemis can maybe raise $50 million !  What happens if a mine is found at Purdys -Comet Well and all the other Wits mines are not on Novo ground ?  If we have a Wits you guys better start thinking -better start laying off some bets on companies like KAI -like DGO which incidentally pegged their ground long before QH came  near the place on studies done for Wits style sedimentation from UTAS in Tasmania.  If we have another Wits I can tell you it wont be just Novo and ARV -As Doodle Dog has said JohnathonC was onto this long before QH and I think you will find there are conglomerates 100 km away that may well be similar to Purdys.  QH certainly got the show on the road and for that and the foresight of KL we will be eternally grateful if this pans out-  but the fat lady has not sung yet. An Aussie found the Wits and never been heard of since -and an Irishman found Kalgoorlie -them's the breaks. I rest my case-

I don't agree with your last 1/4 of post but that's irrelevant. I do agree DL will not be intimidated and the other players your mention.

on a side note I am itching to visit Canada, looks amazing and the people are apparently the tops (good lol) so I have my fingers crossed novo/Artemis get along so I can pull some money from my share account and go on a holiday!
