RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:SpCFW has to adress the 1.1B in debt. Dumping the USA div makes a ton of sense and likely at a very favorable price. The US mkt has entirely 2 much competition, beter to focus on Canada, Argentina, Mexico and Russia. Plenty of growth to be had in Canada if they branched out more into coiled tubing(ESN available), liquids processing.

Wilks buying spree is why CF is moving up for the last six weeks. On paper they likely already made well over $12MM in profits alone. The reason Wilks are targeting CF and not TCW is that CF is in a much weaker position than TCW, hence a much easier target for a potential buy-out/merger/take-over/privatization, etcc.... That said, as a long-term investor I think Trican is in much better shape and a better choice. As for short-term CFW does have a significant upside, they could easily go another 50%-100% if anything in regards to the above materializes in the next 3-6 months. If nothing materializes CFW will drop back like a rock, although I can't see the Wilks letting that happen without a fight. Lastly all Fracking companies have a great future ahead so overall everyone should do well going forward as long as WTI stays above 45.
