Ned Goodman, Co-Chair
Ned Goodman founded Dundee Corp. and its subsidiary Goodman & Company Investment Counsel Inc. Dundee Corp. is a Canadian holding company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “DC.A”. Through its operating subsidiaries, Dundee Corp. is engaged in diverse business activities in the areas of its core competencies including investment advisory and corporate finance, and private equity investments in real estate, infrastructure, energy, resources and agriculture. Mr. Goodman has over four decades of investment experience as a securities analyst, portfolio manager and senior executive. He has an established reputation as one of Canada’s most successful investment counselors. Mr. Goodman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1967. In 1997, he was awarded a Doctorate of Laws, honoris causa, by Concordia University, and was appointed Chancellor of Brock University from 2007 to 2015. Mr. Goodman is founder and benefactor of the Goodman Institute of Investment Management – a graduate school for investment management at Concordia University. In 2012, The Goodman Family Foundation established both the Goodman School of Business at Brock University and the Goodman School of Mines at Laurentian University.
Rick Renaud, FCPA, FCA, Co-Chair
Richard J. Renaud is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TNG Corporation (Renaud family office) and Co-Chair of Dundee Sarea LP. He has worked actively in private equity, focused on workout situations in Canada and the United States for over 40 years. Sectors of investment include manufacturing, financial services and information technologies. Mr. Renaud founded Dundee Sarea with Mr. Ned Goodman. In 1999, prior to Dundee Sarea, Mr. Renaud co-founded Wynnchurch Capital, a top quartile private equity firm. He was a general partner and Chairman at Wynnchurch until June 2013. Mr. Renaud was also involved as an investor, board member and executive with AMJ Campbell (1977-1980), Radiomutuel (1982-1999), Canstar (1988-1995) and Weider Health & Fitness (1987 as a director and 1993-1996 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer). He is presently a member of a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards, including Android Industries, Concordia University Foundation and St. Mary’s Hospital Center (Board of Governors).
