The payment of $1 million was speculation too. Maybe educated speculation. A gamble at best. Time will tell if a patent is issued or not. I don't understand your comment that even without a patent royalties are owed. Royalties are payable on sales and have nothing to do with the patent. That alludes to product being sold - patent or no patent. We are in business and must pay 10% of sales as a cost of doing business. I'm sure that would be added to the selling price. We are not paying 10% unless we have sales to pay it from. There should be something left over (i.e. 90%) and we do still own the IP for making silicon out of quartz via PUREVAP. This spec will be attractive one day - our day will come.
