Income Financial Trust (the Trust) is a Canada-based investment trust fund that invests in a diversified portfolio. The Trust’s investment objective is to provide unitholders with a stable stream of monthly distributions by investing in a diversified portfolio consisting primarily of common shares issued by corporations whose shares are included in the S&P/TSX Capped Financials Index, the S&P 500 Financials Index or the S&P MidCap 400 Financials Index. I know they have money invested in the US financial sector and that's been on a tear lately, so that has to be part of it. I've been in a little over 2 years now and have to pinch myself sometimes. I was quite happy with the dividend and never expected Capital gains like this. Just to be honest with you I will admit to selling a thousand at just over 17 and another thousand this morning. My wife and I each have 500 share left which I intend to just keep holding. Let's just enjoy the ride, I hope it keeps going. Good luck to you.
