Now I know how some people bit into the story in the past and so on but why the heck, after all the sales was reversed, after Mekenix did nothing and with no announcement do we see people buying? I  do not get it. And why would Eric dump a ton of money in this and avg 25 cents?

Nothing makes sense unless someone knows something we do not about what is coming into here.
