RE:RE:Summer 2017 Drill ProgramMike/EKIM

I said you are out of your league on this and I mean it.
Why talk about block cave on a pipe that is as small as Ch-6?
That's foolishness sir. Of course not.
Look at the mining methods used by Ekati, Diavik and Renard on similar-sized pipes.
Very expensive mining.
That should give you a clue as what can be done.

As for your 60 degree pit slopes - good luck.
Once you incorporate ramps on such a small pipe you end up with a significantly lower saverage slope angle - like suggested in current PEA.
In any case, whether 55 degrees or thereabouts, won't make a significant difference; not like Shore Gold's Sask pits that must be 35 degrees to get down through deep overburden.
That is simply operating cost.

It is the DIAMONDS, GRADE AND VALUE that matter most.
And it will be some time before we get that info.

Other poster comments about permafrost down to 5m or whatever. Get real folks.
At Ekati the permafrost is >300m below surface.
The underground mines below the 320m deep pits were wet, meaning BELOW permafrost!!
At Chiliak the depth of permafrost should even be greater!!

The too many lost holes could have been from inexperienced folks for sure.
I imagine they are using at best B-team, if not C-team 'experts'.
Makes a big difference in results as the Majors like BHPB and RIO know.
Time to relax and wait for REAL results folks.
