IKN is an interesting blog, that they love to do. A mishmashof ideas, that can help give inklings of what is going on.

All I know is that the lifting of the suspension was on everything.

THO and MEM can proceed normally or allowed to proceed normally, while the
UN / CALAS case over so call indigenous peoples rights to close mining economic
activities  proceeds. To see if the indigenous people are even in the area of the
mining site, and if so voting on allowing the mine operating.

You have to remember that the UN has a busy body legal arm in Guatemala too,
trying to depose the president over finance corruption charges.

How much that is influencing the president, gov't and court system to tow the UN's
line, and the group in Guatemala, ie CALAS's to go along with the UN, is anybody's
guess. But it seems to be strong.

It all sounds like a new form of neo imperialism to control the nations of the world.
So call over the rights of the weakest people in the world.

I have no problems getting the communities in nations, both citizens and indigenous,
greater advantages and environmental considerations, in economic projects near
them, but not the right to stop economic development of nations, over claiming they
can be wild life-like (ie indigenous) reserves.

There are justification for wild life or public life, reserves, but this isn't one of them
and most aren't.
