RE:This stock should be a dollar right now..

RE:This stock should be a dollar right now..I hear you Has. I remember as a kid going with my Dad to the brokers office in Timmins. 1960 to 1965. They had a room with benches and a ticker tape. Everyone smoked and chewed stuff. There were several spittoon cans in the room and several hotels within a short walking distance. Many of the brokers held court there. I could watch the action in the ticker room but when the old man went for a beer I had to wait in the car. I always got a pop and a chip while I waited. Sometimes I waited a long time. He scored big on Texas Gulf. The first order of business was to buy the biggest Chrysler Newport he could get his hands on. My mother worried to death. I know for a fact he never bought a blue chip stock in his life but the old boy did OK. I realized that when I read the will.
