RE:RE:Shorts

RE:RE:Shortsminingman, Glenn Chan has been short PVG for about two years. I see that he still uses Farquarson as his principal analyst. I think that Farquarson used old school analytics with very low cut off grades when he attempted to put a resource togehehr at the VOK. When you cut 1000g/t to 31.3g/t you certainly get different results as opposed to using a cut off at 540 g/t. It is also interesting that Farquarson interpreted the Cleopatra structure as a vein that couls be followed and mined conventionally. This was also the original interprtation by the PVG geologists, but when they attempted to follow the "vein" it turned out to be discontinuous. The geostatisical approach by Warwick Board and Ivor jones allows for the discontinuities  and accepts the problem as something similar to quantum mechanics. -The particles are there but we do not know they are exactly but we have enough information to make useful calculations. I think we have enough evidence to ignore Farquarson, but there is still some doubt as to the acuracy of the Snowdeens' reserve calculation, but I think that the cut off gives a comfort that will probably result in the Snowden estimate being conservative. We will know more shortly.
