RE:There will be more news on Serena, but when? Not so sure there are any more drills outstanding. In the "Convergence Zone news release of Sept 6, the last paragraph stated the following:
We are awaiting assays from eight more wildcat holes drilled in various parts of the property targeting geophysical and geochemical anomalies; significant results from these holes will be released after they are received and fully processed by our geological team. Three additional holes drilled to step-out from the North zone returned only anomalous values of gold. Drilling to further define and expand the gold content of the Iceberg gold deposit will resume in late September.
A week later in the Vio release, they focus on the two holes that are giving us hope, then later in the release they said this:
Drilling to further define these recent discoveries and expand on the gold content of the Iceberg gold deposit will resume in the fall. Three wildcat holes were also drilled into the Jasperoid Basin area and four into other geophysical and geochemical targets mostly west and southwest of Iceberg’s central zone. These holes contained either ‘anomalous’ gold values or ‘no significant gold values’; holes with anomalous values may be followed up on later.
So, I'm assuming that the holes they speak of as still awaiting assays in the Sept 6 release, are the same they they got back for the Sept Vio release. If true, i believe this accounts for all the Summer wildcat drills, and we are now just starting our Fall drill program around the Iceberg/Serena area. Those we won't "see" until mid- end November. Comments???
