Absolutely true. If I was a battery manufacturer, and I locked up a critcial locally sourced supply, I would be greatly mitigating my risk of production AND meeting all the hot buttons the many levels of govenment want to see. Not only that, I would be able to block out, or at a minimum, prioritize my needs above my competitors.
Everything falls into place automatically.
