Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Jockeying for Position - Metro's takeover of Jean Coutu

RE:RE:Jockeying for Position - Metro's takeover of Jean CoutuSunny, I believe Metro Inc., which is the company that bought Jean Coutu, is not affiliated or connected with Metro Group in Germany.   Metro Inc.'s roots go back to 1947 when it was founded in Quebec.  Metro is the third largest grocer in Canada after Loblaws and Sobeys, but I don't see any corporate connection between them and the German retailer called Metro Group other than they both share the name "Metro".
