RE:RE:Analysts

RE:RE:AnalystsIf an analysts target price has no relationship or link to a specific companies share price, why would a potential investor or current investor care what they said?
quakes99 wrote: Hey BSdetector2016, why do you keep spreading that BS that you say you are detecting?   You are trying to misinform newbie investors on what share price Targets actually are, pretending that they are share price predictions in order to discredit the work done by professionals that is a valuable component of every investor's due diligence.

Target Prices represent the Net Asset Value of a company's assets using international standards of valuation.  They use Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, as well as in-situ historic $/lb asset value for Uranium deposits in particular.  They are based on forecasted U3O8 prices for U Explorers, and represent the Fair Market Value of a company's shares if the market ascribes that underlying NAV over the coming year if U prices move towards forecasted levels.

You can read all about those standards in this very thorough report that discusses in detail the valuation methods used round the world for mining and mineral exploration companies:

Valuation of Metals and Mining Companies

To belittle the true professionals in the resource industry by falsely claiming that they are making share price predictions is defamatory and misleads other investors.

See ya!
