RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:A Bloomberg ArticleSoxman, you are probably right about this.

soxman wrote: AndersS with regards to your probability point about a next EST:

Lamb said recently that we are recovering more special stones than last year (+10.8 carats) plus we now have new equipment in place to stop breakage which will result in larger stones.

We recovered a huge amount of special stones last year so one can only conclude that we have a huge amount this year plus a little more. As the mega unit is up and running 100% as lamb recently said it would lead me to believe that we are probably recovering slightly larger stones than before due to less breakage.

So you can look at it this way: What is the probability that we have more +10.8 carat stones than last year, new quipment to increase the stone size from last year but not enough special stones to do an EST. It is possible but pretty unlikely in my opinion.

If Lamb hadn't said we had more specials than last year I would be concerned but it is very unlikely we have more specials than last year yet not enough for an EST.
