HornfelsIf the Mount Roe basalt cooked the good, wouldn't it also have cooked the conglomerate? If so, the conglomerate could well have been hornfelsed, producing changes in mineralogy, colour and texture. I haven't seen any reference to hornfelsing in what I have read so far.... (What is hornfels? I won't define it here, to keep my message compact. Wikipedia has a long entry about hornfels.) GLTA
