Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

12 LPs to contribute to the dispensaries gets you a lot more store fronts than doing it alone.

They might be be able to convince Alberta government that they can ship direct to their dispensary bypassing the central warehouse. This cuts out government touches and could provide more margin.

LPs owning the store fronts will make them much better than Ontario CCBO model.

This co-op model can go into any non government owned province. BC for instance.

This is The Beer Store model from Ontario.  Owned by three breweries.  Profits distributed as a function of gross margins generated. Allows LP to set sale price.
