RE:RE:The Value of Allegiant

RE:RE:The Value of AllegiantJudging from the recent substantial decline in the share price, I would say the tax loss selling is taking place now. That would be smart for shareholders to allow for buying back in early November before the spin out.  After Allegiant is separate, Columbus will be clean for a takeout by the Russians. You wouldn't want to miss the upside from that, even though the premium will probably disappoint many long-time shareholders.  Columbus could hold out for a higher take-out price if the gold price cooperates, but sitting on a declining share of a mine under construction is a risky bet. They will be a totally passive company then. Allegiant will have all of the action requiring active management. Columbus will be more like a streamer or royalty company, even if it takes on debt to keep a large share of the mine. My gut tells me they sell out.
