RE:RE:New podcast

RE:RE:New podcastI don't think scaling up their bench scale cathode recycling apparatus  to something a little bit bigger would be extremely capital intensive enough to justify large capital raises that would bring about more dilution.  What is expensive is automated disassembly lines needed to reverse the manufacturing process (dismantle the pack, pull the jelly roll out of the can) 8000 individual cells make up a model s battery pack.  That part of the process is intensive and would likely need the help of a partner, which is what I believe they are looking for now.  They have also said there is enough rejected cathode foils out there (never ends up being stuffed into a can) that would allow them to bypass the complicated uncanning apparatus at least for now (not enough dead EV batteries to open up yet) and start recovered enough reusable material that can be sold to the end users of these specific commodities.
