RE:RE:NOVO GOOGLE EARTH OVERLAYSSBlonde,
Tinypic link works, i.e. I can see the picture, but have not tried to do anything with it.
Presumably your tech savvy friend, have used Google Earth (GE) to utililize the imagery there to capture the scene that he put in Tinypic.
What I had in mind was the use of GE directly. GE has a collection of imagery of the region for public consumption up to 30 Dec 2016. The quality of the pictures are good enough to identify features such as roads (so a trench of 10m width and 30m length could be identified). I could see the Radio Hill Facility, just by cruising around the neighbourhood. But have not been able to locate exactly where the surface exposure (or any scratching on the surface) at Purdy's Reward, since I don't know exactly the lat and long of the spot. Does your friend knows them? If he has them please supply, so I can put a pin on GE.
Also, we would also need the latest picture to be able to view the trench. The company should have these pictures, but they would need to "post" that picture on GE, since company don't normally want to share this info to competitors, unless they can see other benefits.
Cheers,
GH
