What bothers me and what I have noticed..The last release or two was used as a opportunity by large share holders to unload stock.
The news release today says "deliveries will begin arriving in Atlanta in December." They won't be made in the USA when they arrive, just the shells will start arriving at 10 per month. Factor in the inefficiencies and learning curve BUS have mentioned on several occasions [only 5 finished buses a month initially] and you have zero earnings for MANY more months, If they start cranking out 5 per month in Jan or Feb. that won't help the quarterly reports until approx. August 2108 at the earliest. The eps will be miniscule initially. What happens if there is further dilution and we go from 75+ million to 95+ million shares outstanding in the meantime. All the good news in the world won't move the needle if we don't have earnings and good profit margins to report. Aldergrove had to sell their buses to BC transit for approx. 13% profit to get moving. We are going to have to wait several quarters to see what Atlantas true profits will be. You can make all the pie in the sky projections you want but we still need healthy margins and we aren't even close to seeing them yet. I don't think it matters what announcements or releases they may make. Hype isn't enough at this point.....ONLY the bottom line counts now. jmho
