Reality check
All this talk on the board about dumping shares because production is about to start along with promotion which will drive up volume. Huge mistake in my opinion.
Let's consider one possible outcome for the company and its market value.
Production will start this month and that will mean revenue. Once revenue comes in, LDS will be able to announce revenue numbers. That will allow analysts to start doing research on the potential of the company. If you don't think Cannacord is coming out with a buy rating as soon as LDS has 3 months of revenue in the bank you aren't paying attention. When I met Brad (and you can check my posts, I do not have a high opinion of him) he said they want to roll out sales slowly so they can maintain their market position and increase sales every month until they reach capacity.
The market cap for LDS is something like 45 million (CAD) right now. Do you think a company producing cannabis products in California will be at this market cap or long? I doubt it. This goes higher.
Promotion is important not so insiders can dump their shares, the insiders want this business to work. They want to draw the american retail cannabis investor's attention to LDS. The chart looks awful right now. If it starts running and the chart looks better, the retail folks will pile in. Again, they are legally producing cannabis products in California. That's a good position to be in. Other cannabis companies are in the hundreds of millions of dollars (USD). This will be the same if they can execute on their business plan.
I think selling now, or shortly after sales begin would be a mistake. But it's your money and I'm just some guy on the internet. So GLTFA
