RE:RE:The Dirty Open Secret

RE:RE:The Dirty Open SecretHi gojotv!;

Thank you for your reply.

You are using a rather flawed logic. I suggest that you do some further research before you make public statements that are not factually correct.

Have you ever heard of the term "Oncovirus? Look it up. You will find that many cancers are initiated by viral infections, so viruses and cancer are not as you stated "apples and oranges". Cancer can also be initiated by various bacterial and parasitic infections too.

In addition, you are extrapolating and implying an impossability, that a cure for a viral infection is universally applied to every living human being or carrier reservour simultaneously, and that a permanent immunity to the same infection results, therefore if a person is cured, the virus "goes extinct". Do you realize that without a fully complete and enduring immunity, you can be reinfected by the same or closely related virus? Did you know that a virus be beaten back, appear as if it was cured, and then go into suspended animation and hide out in your body or a carrier for a period of time, sometimes extending to many decades, only to pop up later and cause havoc at a that time?

Do you honestly belive that government can not confiscate your property or it's value for the "public good"? In 2014 The United State Senate Committee on Finance raked Gilead Sciences over the coals to force them to lower their prices and a do public giveaway of product in poor countries. Is Gilead not a corporation? Do they not have property rights? Goverment sure is standing by to collect their cut of the profits.

gojotv!, my post was not about a virus treatment per se, but about how a highly successful medical treatment can be less than optimal profitability wise, cannibalistic to your customer base, and attract the unwanted attention from politicians wanting to grab your property to gain votes for their own cause. And finally, I was stating that in the medical industry, a high efficacy treatment can be more profitable in the long term than a cure.

The best of luck to you and all longs;
