RE:4 Options now for Bombardier

RE:4 Options now for BombardierMy option 4 came true. CS500 here we come!! I love it.

jamesb14 wrote: With the US preliminary decision, Bombardier now has 4 options.

1. Stay the course, sell the CSeries planes around the world and fight it out in the US in court.
2. Split the rail and plane divisions, selling part of rail and taking some cash to develop the CS500 and buy back shares from the province of Quebec. They may also partner with the European or Chinese rail companies.
3. Sell part or all of the CSeries program to the Chinese and develop the CS500.
4. Sell part or all of the CSeries program to Airbus and develop the CS500.

In my humble opinion, options 2-4 are the best on the table and Bombardier has extremely valuable assets in rail and aerospace. Threats from the Canadian and UK governments appear to be falling on deaf ears. The battle lines need to be redrawn. I think the CS500 is now an inevitability in the next 12 months. I bet Delta is the first customer and buys at a profit on the planes.
